The open structure allows light to flow and gives the piece its sculptural appeal.

Each SOI SHIBUI is lovingly handcrafted in our Berlin workshop using only sustainable materials. We use FSC-certified corrugated cardboard from responsibly managed forests, combined with vegan, odourless glue that is safe for cats and humans. The open honeycomb structure creates an inviting surface texture, and the distinctive cat scratching sound is loved by cats across the world.

Installation tip

When choosing the length of your screws, keep in mind the strong leverage that occurs when a cat jumps onto the furniture – particularly with a depth of around 34 cm. Screws that are too short may loosen quickly and jeopardise the secure fit of the piece. Please use professional wall anchors suitable for your wall type.
