A fresh scratching surface for cat crate L

With the replacement insert for the Katzenstiege L, you can easily renew the heavily used scratching surface while continuing to use the furniture itself. The precisely fitted insert made from high-quality premium corrugated cardboard replaces the existing scratching surface and fits exactly into the designated recess of the Katzenstiege.

The exposed cut edges of the corrugated cardboard create a particularly appealing scratching surface for cats. Its characteristic structure provides pleasant resistance for the claws and supports natural scratching behaviour. At the same time, it creates a comfortable textured surface that many cats also enjoy sitting or resting on.

As with our cat furniture, we use carefully selected FSC-certified corrugated cardboard for the replacement insert. Long virgin wood fibres give the cardboard its characteristic stability and create a durable scratching structure. The adhesive we use is vegan certified and safe for both humans and animals.

Renew the scratching surface instead of replacing the furniture

The option of replacing a worn scratching surface separately is an important part of our product philosophy. When the corrugated cardboard shows visible signs of wear after prolonged and intensive use, there is no need to replace the entire Katzenstiege. Only the designated insert needs to be renewed.

This allows the furniture itself to remain in use while your cat once again benefits from a fresh and attractive scratching surface. The used insert can be disposed of with waste paper and returned to the recycling cycle.

The Katzenstiege L replacement insert is manufactured to fit the corresponding cat-on model precisely and can be easily exchanged for the existing scratching surface.
